Human Nature Series, 2021

The works in this series are inspired by the same harmonic solutions found in Burle Marx's gardens. Colorful and slightly kinetic, spontaneous and conceptually flexible. These works interact with the observer in order to suggest an explanation for the new conceptions that no longer translate the human being as a literary figure who wanders through his own imaginary, but through virtual interaction shows himself as a hybrid communicator, pretending to understand what "I am", "I want to be", and "accept me as I am" really mean.

Series from 2014 to 2019

2017/19, From the Evy to the Wall

___

Series of Works, which contextualizes the individual by its actions, feelings and experiences. Based on the contemporary routine, the works are inspired by the feeling of disorientation and confusion of the individual in the face of its existential attitude. Despair, anxiety, absurdity, alienation and boredom are adjectives worked in this series in order to raise awareness to the beholder to find a single way to give meaning to its life and live it in a sincere and passionate way.

2017, Personal Structures

___

The symbolic elements show the representation of time by spherical suggestion and space by the irregularity of the three-dimensional shape. These elements lead us to reflect on the eternity and the fullness of what is possible to be built by human action through the unconscious. The works present forms that do not intend to rewrite the past, but that intend to reveal an uncertain and ambiguous future. This series of works silently presents the movement and effects caused by those who plot the world.

2016, Surfaces and Abstractions

___

This series of works refers to the word 'abstract'. Taking advantage of its intellectual operation, ‘abstract’ consists of isolating on planes the components that sometimes belong to a common concept, but when isolated do not lack information. The works are made in mixed technique, textiles and canvas, using materials of different sensitivities to compose abstract geometric planes that are approximated and distributed in a palette of vibrant colors. Most straight lines are complemented with metallic copper wire structures and rearranged with pure color planes, so that the observer is instigated or feels the need to manipulate the works in order to understand the relationship between the visual elements.

2014/15, Involuntary Exclusion
